New ARO Hose Reels Extend the Fluid-Handling Range

ARO expands its fluid-handling portfolio with five new industrial hose reels, designed to keep grease, oil, waste oil and fuel lines under control on the workshop floor and the service truck. The spring-driven range completes the ARO solution — from the pump to the point of use.

The latest addition to the ARO® portfolio brings five spring-driven hose reels to the range, finished in ARO red and built for light-industrial and mobile fluid handling. The new reels complement the existing range of ARO® pumps and lubrication equipment, completing the fluid-handling solution from the pump to the point of use.

Built to Meet Real Hose Management Demands in Industrial Fluid Handling

In most fluid-handling operations, the hose is the weak link. Dragged across the floor, kinked, and run over by traffic, it wears out fast and becomes a trip hazard. Leaks at stressed fittings quietly drain product and add operating cost.

Maintenance teams and skid builders want hose management that simply works — without adding a second supplier to the bill of materials. The new ARO hose reels answer that need, pairing directly with the ARO pumps these customers already run.

Operational Benefits for Maintenance and Service Teams

Spring-driven retraction with a stop-dog latch holds the hose at any length and returns it to place in seconds. There is no compressed air, battery or motor to maintain — the spring does the work. Setup and teardown drop from minutes to seconds on every job.

Managing the hose on a reel also extends its service life up to five times by removing the kinking, abrasion and fitting stress that cause early failure. Fewer hoses on the floor means fewer trip hazards, fewer leaks, and lower replacement and fluid-loss costs over the life of the station.

In each setting, the reels pair with ARO LM piston pumps, AODD diaphragm pumps, EVO electric pumps and FRL units — one brand for the whole installation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The range covers 3/8" to 1-1/2" hose inside diameters and working pressures from 41 bar (600 psi) for high-flow fuel up to 280 bar (4,060 psi) for high-pressure grease. All five models carry 15 m (50 ft) of hose.
