2'' Diaphragm Pump - PRO Series Metallic

6662XX-XXX-C - 172 GPM (651 l/min)

The ARO PRO Series 2” metallic pneumatic diaphragm pumps, model number 6662XX-XXX-C, are engineered to deliver impressive flow rates of up to 172 gallons per minute (GPM), which is equivalent to approximately 651 liters per minute (l/min).

These high-performance pumps are designed with versatility in mind, offering a wide range of materials and porting configurations to meet the diverse needs of various industries.

These diaphragm pumps are particularly well-suited for applications, including transfer, filling, recirculation, and batching processes. They find extensive use across multiple sectors such as, Ceramic, Paint, Oil and Gas, Mining, Construction, Chemical, and Petrochemical markets. Their robust design and reliable performance make them an essential tool for professionals in these fields.

The ARO diaphragm pump is known for its high-volume output, even at low air pressure. It offers many material options, so users can choose the best fit for their needs.

A key feature of ARO pumps is their stall-resistant design. This design allows for smooth operation without interruptions. The pumps have a modular air motor and fluid sections, which improve efficiency and make maintenance easier. Air-operated double diaphragm pumps work by using pressure differences in the air chambers. This creates suction and generates fluid pressure. This smart design, along with valve checks, ensures a steady flow of fluid.

When air pressure is applied, the pump starts cycling and continuously pumps to meet system demand. This process builds and keeps line pressure. The pump stops cycling when the maximum line pressure is reached, usually when the dispensing device is closed. However, it will start pumping again as soon as there is demand, ensuring smooth operation.

  • Efficiency: The motor design is made to provide maximum air efficiency. This leads to lower costs and better performance.
  • Reliability: ARO's special 'unbalanced' air valve technology keeps the pumps running smoothly. This gives users confidence in their performance.
  • Versatility: With the 67174-20 screened inlet kit, these pumps can also be used for dewatering. This shows their ability to handle different tasks.
  • Environmentally Sound: The pumps are built to prevent leaks. This is important for protecting the environment and avoiding contamination.
  • Serviceability: ARO pumps are easy to maintain. They allow quick access to ball checks and fluid caps for simple repairs.

To enhance the functionality and performance of the ARO diaphragm pumps, a variety of accessories are available:

  • 66312 Air Line Connection Kit: This kit includes a Piggyback Filter/Regulator, a pipe nipple, and a 5-foot section of hose, providing everything needed for effective air line connections.
  • 67174-20 Screen Inlet Kits: These kits are designed to improve the pump's efficiency in dewatering applications.
  • 66975 Cycle Counter Kit: This accessory allows users to monitor the pump's cycles, providing valuable data for maintenance and operational efficiency.
  • 637434 Air Section Service Kit: This kit contains essential components for servicing the air section of the pump.
  • 637432-XX Fluid Section Service Kit: This kit includes parts necessary for maintaining the fluid section, ensuring optimal performance over time.
