ARO CF Bearing Series Pump for Data Centers

Long‑life oil‑lubricated bearings for dependable uptime

The ARO CF Bearing Series pump for data centers is a line of single‑stage, horizontal centrifugal pumps with axial inlet, designed in conformity with UNI EN 22858 standards.
It supports reliable circulation of clear or slightly cloudy liquids with RN/RNS closed‑impeller hydraulics, and offers RKNS recessed impeller options for heavier‑duty, no‑clog service when fluids carry suspended solids or fibers.
Built around oil‑lubricated rolling‑contact bearings, a heavy‑duty shaft, and a rugged back pull‑out bearing support, this platform is engineered to keep maintenance predictable—an essential buying criterion for mission‑critical data center operations.

Key performance highlights include:

  • Maximum casing pressure: up to 16 bar (232 psi)
  • Liquid temperature range: −50 to +280 °C (−58 to +536 °F)
  • RN/RNS maximum capacity (flow): up to 2600 m³/h (11,450 US GPM)
  • RN/RNS maximum head: up to 140 m (459 ft)
  • Nominal discharge nozzle sizes (DN): RN/RNS DN 32 to 300 mm; RKNS DN 32 to 50 mm

A “process grade” pump platform built for data center reliability

In a data center, pumping is not just about moving water—it’s about protecting uptime. The ARO CF Bearing Series brings chemical‑process design discipline into data center utility and cooling ecosystems: robust mechanics, efficient hydraulics, and serviceability features that reduce operational risk. This pump family is defined as single‑stage horizontal centrifugal pumps with axial inlet, built to UNI EN 22858, and designed around a combination of innovative components to achieve high fluid‑dynamic efficiency.

A major differentiator for long‑run reliability is the use of rolling‑contact bearings with oil lubrication, selected for long life and high reliability.
The heavy‑duty pump shaft is engineered to minimize deflection and support “perfect seal” operation—critical when your data center depends on stable flow and leak‑free operation.
For many configurations, the shaft is also protected from the conveyed liquid to help prevent corrosion and enable the use of high‑performance mechanical materials.

Product family: choose the right hydraulic for your loop

  • RN / RNS (closed impeller): intended for conveying clear or slightly cloudy liquids (chemically inert or aggressive) and designed to deliver high efficiency and strong performance.
    • RKNS (recessed open impeller): designed for solutions with suspended crystals, muddy and/or viscous liquids, and fluids with suspended particles or fibrous materials—promoted as no‑clog service.

FAQ

Yes—because the features that matter most in data centers are reliability and maintainability. The CF Bearing Series is built around oil‑lubricated bearings, a heavy‑duty shaft, and a back pull‑out support designed to simplify maintenance.
For many data center loops that circulate clear or slightly cloudy liquids, the RN/RNS closed‑impeller design is an excellent match to the stated fluid suitability.
