Discover the EVO Series™ Electric Diaphragm Pump

Get the best electric pump technology for your key processes

The next evolution in process pump technology is here. A brand you have trusted for nearly 100 years introduces the EVO Series™ electric diaphragm pump.

ARO leverages many of the advantages of its industry-leading EXP Series air-operated diaphragm pumps and combines them with a unique set of features from other process pump technologies.

Compared to traditional diaphragm pumps, the EVO Series electric diaphragm pumps give you greater versatility and efficiency.

ARO has won an award. The EVO Series™ electric diaphragm pump was recognized as the “Product of the Year” at the 2023 Pump Industry Awards. You can read more about this [here]. This award recognizes the most innovative pump in recent years.

What are the main advantages of the EVO Series™ electric diaphragm pump?

The EVO Series™ electric diaphragm pump offers a unique set of proven technologies in a revolutionary pump:

  • Maximum pressure capacity
  • Leak-free system
  • Reduced energy consumption
  • Pulsation-free
  • Solids handling capability
  • Energy efficiency
  • Total controllability with application of VFD or PLC
  • Easy to use - easy to install and maintain
  • The pump can be adjusted to any operating condition
  • Reliability: increased serviceability, reduced maintenance
  • Exceptional robustness of process pumps
  • Suitable for hazardous environments (ATEX/IECex)

Designed for safety

Dead head capability: The EVO Series™ 300 electric diaphragm pump provides real dead head protection. An integrated encoder can detect the pumping speed, slow down the motor, and maintain system pressure for long periods of time. The automated system allows the pump to restart the process without priming or can be programmed for automatic shutdown.

Built-in leak detection: Sensors can detect diaphragm failure and shut down the pump to prevent leaks.

For added protection, the pump has secondary seals. These seals protect the drive mechanism in the event of a problem.

Designed for control

The EVO Series 300 features a built-in encoder and frequency converter to monitor and control pump flow according to your process parameters. This includes flow rate, head, torque, and more.

Designed for efficiency

Maximum energy efficiency: The fully electric pump requires no compressed air system.

Lower repair costs: With a VFD for integrated monitoring, preventive maintenance can be performed on a predictable schedule. Repairs are easy to perform, minimizing downtime.

Designed to perform

Lower pulsation: With its the EVO Series 300’s unique three-chamber design, pulsation is significantly lower than in two-chamber electric diaphragm pumps.

Easy to install: ARO engineers eliminated the need for a base plate or shaft alignment. The EVO Series™ pump is compact and fits into tight operating spaces.

What are examples of applications where the EVO Series™ electric diaphragm pump excels?

You can choose from 5 different materials of construction to handle the most aggressive and corrosive fluids. From stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and polypropylene to conductive polypropylene. ARO's exclusive AC gear motor is available in a standard (black) version for safe areas or in a hazardous area (red) version. The EVO Series™ can solve an impressive number of problems you may have:

  • Packaging
  • Reliable and efficient glue transfer for smooth packaging production
